  1. preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. greace 2 pans of 9 inch and line with butter paper.
  3. seive together flour ,cocoa and add salt init.
  4. add together milk and malt powder.
  5. add cream and butter milk together and beat it and set aside.
  6. in a bowl beat eggs ,caster sugar and oil well,then add flour mixture,sour cream mixture and malt mixture altenatively in three batches and beat well.
  7. combine together baking soda and baking pwd and put 1 tablespoon vinegar in it and add in the mixture beat it fir a minute and immediately pour the mixture in the pans equally and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. FOR FROSTING:beat butter with malt powder than add in cocoa pwd and beat well then gradually start adding icing sugar and beat it then add chilled whipped cream and beat slowly..
  9. put cake on a platter put the icing on it and then put the other cake on it and ice it and slides with frosting and serve chilled..
